Team careMESH: Meet Genie Bowler
Why did you decide to join careMESH?
From the first time I learned about careMESH a few years ago, I knew it was a company I wanted to be a part of; I even offered to support ad-hoc projects until the company could hire me permanently! careMESH is paving the way for better communication between our hospital customers and the many physicians and offices they work with each day. I was eager to join such a company that is striving to improve multiple aspects of healthcare.
What is your role with the company?
As a Delivery Manager Customer Support Associate, I manage customer service tickets, provide one-on-one customer support as inquiries arise, and assist in the delivery of patient admissions, discharges, and referral documentation to the designated providers. I conduct extensive amounts of research to help ensure our National Provider Directory is up-to-date at all times. I take great pride in managing each customer's needs, and providing them with the most pleasant customer experience possible.
What have been your highlights so far working with careMESH customers?
I love getting feedback from our users when they learn how easy it is to use careMESH!
What makes working in healthcare important to you?
As a patient, I recognize the need for continuous communication between providers. We’ve all encountered those situations either in our care or for a child or elderly parent, in which healthcare providers were unable to share information without relying on fax or mail. Knowing that I'm working to improve digital communications for healthcare is very rewarding. I am honored to assist our customers in providing a higher quality of healthcare to their patients every day.
Tell us a little something about yourself outside of work.
I am a native of Alexandria, AL. My husband and I have three young children, and we love planning new adventures for our kids and making memories every chance we get. While COVID presented challenges for so many people, the careMESH remote work policy has been a blessing to our family in many ways. I can remain available to my family while making a difference professionally.
