Samantha Knapp joined careMESH in 2022 as Sr. Clinical Project Manager after working as a registered nurse and surgical specialty coordinator for six years in the surgical services department at level II trauma centers as both a staff and traveling nurse. During this time, she gained user experience with various EHR systems, including Epic, QuadraMed, and MEDITECH.
Her role in care coordination as part of a multidisciplinary team has led her to become an expert in clinical workflow design, focusing on process improvement and optimization. She has designed and implemented workflows with more than a dozen service lines to streamline patient care for programs with high acuity patient populations—including Aortic Disease, Breast Oncology, Limb Preservation PAD, and others.
In her role at careMESH, she actively supports clinical leadership and end users in workflow design and business analytics to support improved patient outcomes.
